Ship2

Made a simple spaceship in the Homeworld style to practice UV mapping.  Painting textures was so much fun, brought me back to my model kit building days.  Baking in the lighting really cuts down render time too! I used a background produced by Shi Yao http://raph.com/3dartists/artgallery/imagePage?iid=6793

Goodies

Most of this is Rob Cunningham's work for the Homeworld Series, some of the sketches from 98.  I remember playing the game on a 700mhz "supercomputer" in 99 and being blown away by the visuals.
